I am Savvy, the cook behind Serve it Savvy. I am a food enthusiast, recipe developer and a Research scholar by profession.
The motto behind this blog is to share with you my passion for cooking and my recipes. Cooking, for me, is relaxing and sometimes an adventure. Rustic and home style is my style of cooking. I try to keep my recipes simple and healthy but the focus is always “the taste”.
I grew up in a Sikh family where stuffed parathas, lentils, green vegetables and cottage cheese gravies were a part of staple diet. I always loved to see my mom cooking for us; specially the Aaloo parathas that were soft inside, crunchy on outside, with the homemade white butter melting on top and the hot parathas soaking it as it melts.
I was 20 when I started cooking and with time I realized that cooking is more than just a hobby for me. I believe cooking is for everybody. It might take some time, one may face difficulties in the beginning but gradually it turns into a splendid experience. I think, it is the most rewarding hobby that one can think of.
Hope you like my recipes.
